The boat launch with the deepest channel. The trail to the gorge. The farm stand that takes Venmo. The icon you've heard of and the one you haven't.
The west-end county beach on Wisconsin's deepest natural inland lake — a shallow, sandy swim area built for small kids, a children's play area, and three boat launches on-site. A $5 daily launch fee applies, or buy a season pass; the ramp is ADA-compliant.
A 900-acre historic estate on the lake's west shore, open to the public for walking the grounds even though it's primarily a Christian conference and retreat center — Judson Tower, an 1908 water tower with a 140-foot observation platform, is the landmark to find on the property. Recently underwent preservation work with the Wisconsin State Historic Preservation Office.
Friday-evening market at the Town Square Community Center, late May through late August — organic baked goods, cheese, honey, produce, and prepared foods from area growers and makers. Closed the Friday of July 4th weekend.
A Chris-Craft dealership and rental operation on Park Drive running for more than fifty years — pontoons, speedboats, wave runners, and seasonal slip rentals with a fuel dock on-site. The default full-service marina for owners keeping a boat here for the season.
Three public ramps operated by the City of Green Lake, plus additional county access at Dodge Memorial Park on the west end. An annual boat launch pass is available through the city rather than paying per visit at each site — worth it for a full-season stay.
Two contrasting 18-hole courses on the lake's west side — the Links, a 1930 Langford & Moreau design ranked among the country's top classic courses, with wide-open Scottish-style bunkering; and the Woodlands, a tree-lined modern target course with severe elevation changes. Consistently ranked one of Wisconsin's best.
A 60-foot catamaran built in 1995 specifically for Heidel House, the largest entertainment vessel on the lake — Thursday dinner cruises with a rotating guest chef, docking partway at Dartford Gorge for a torchlit walk before sailing back. Booked through Green Lake Tours, not the hotel directly.
